Simaen – Veteran Engineer
Winning a Grammy for his recording of Olivia Newton-John, working with
Sir George Martin at Air Studios, assisting long-time friend Rupert Neve in the
design of the Amek-Neve 9098i console, and training personally with good friend
George Massenburg on his GML mix-automation system, are but a few of Simaen
Skolfield’s sound-world experiences. Since he first hit that red record button back
in ’69, Simaen has accumulated 30-plus years of experience as a sound recording
engineer for such great recording artists as Debbie Harry, Tina Turner, Marianne
Faithful, Billy Ocean, Roger Waters (Pink Floyd), America, Culture Club, T Rex, the Kinks, Roger Glover (Deep Purple), Kevin Ayers (Soft Machine), Level 42, (Wally Badarroo: USA remix producer) and many more. All he needs is a good cup of coffee, and you’ll love what you hear.

Mike – Chief Engineer
Master-of-all-trades in sound engineering, Mike Johnson has a passion for great-sounding music that’s hard to beat. Ever since picking up a guitar at age 8 and being introduced to analog tape in the mid 90′s, the Connecticut native has been fascinated by music-making, especially progressive rock and blues, and capturing it’s full beauty. Years of self-teaching and always raising his standards pushed him through his many small studios and through a year at Full Sail, where he earned a Recording Arts degree. Nearly a decade later, after meeting with renown studio designer Wes Lachot, Mike now records, mixes and masters in a dream-room studio. In it, he is able to take all that he’s loved about music throughout his life and inject it creatively into the mixes he does today.

Spencer – Engineer/Producer

Spencer Bradham has been in the recording business engineering and producing for the last six years, the last three with the team at Clear Track Studios. A musical prodigy on the piano, he plays keyboards for the band Davy and the Gods. Spencer is a producer, songwriter and arranger for many genres, specializing in alternative indie rock.

AJ Maldonado is a former Recording Artist (Soulidium) and Producer/Engineer/Mixer/ A&R for Major Record Companies. In 2011 AJ teams up with Clear Track Studios to break artists and make great records!
